Freedom to Live Off Campus
To the Editor:
Jonathan A. Waldman mentions the Hammer Hut as one of the colorful off-campus apartments that Dartmouth College is trying to discourage students from inhabiting ("The Crack House: Why Off-Campus Housing Is Vital," The Review, February 8). My friends and I named it that when we lived there in the early 1990s, because it's located above a hardware store.
