Freedom of Expression at Smith College

In regard to the story "National Group Rallies Students Who Question Campus Feminism" (October 5), it has long been the official, stated policy at Smith College that academic freedom and, more generally, freedom of expression are of paramount value and are essential to the fullest realization of the purposes of any educational institution.
