Fraternity Chapter in Tennessee Is Punished for Hazing
The East Tennessee State University chapter of the Sigma Phi Epsilon fraternity may have set a new standard for hazing.
The fraternity's activities were suspended in December for 18 months, following reports from three pledges that they had been doused in urine, deprived of sleep, pelted with eggs, and forced to drink rotten milk, make "snow angels" with ketchup, and crawl through a gantlet of garbage and broken glass.
