Franklin College of Indiana announced today that it was taking legal action against Franklin University, an institution in Ohio that plans to open a campus in Indianapolis. The Ohio university’s advertising campaign in central Indiana is causing confusion among alumni and prospective students, said Franklin College’s president, James G. Moseley, in a news release.
The Indiana college, which celebrates its 175th anniversary this year, today filed a complaint for injunctive and other relief in the U.S. District Court in Indianapolis, hoping to protect its registered trademark, according to
