Foundation Settles Suit Against College
Santa Fe Community College, in New Mexico, and its foundation agreed last week to settle a lawsuit filed by the foundation in August.
The Foundation for the Santa Fe Community College was established in 1984 to solicit donations and manage a $4.5-million endowment, but the college's Governing Board dissolved the foundation and replaced it with another one last summer (The Chronicle, October 1, 2004).
College officials envisioned the new entity, called the Grow Santa Fe Community
