Foundation Gives $22-Million to Increase Supply of Nursing Faculty Members
In response to the growing shortage of nursing educators in New Jersey, as well as across the nation, the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation will spend $22-million over five years to increase the number of faculty members who teach nursing in the state, the foundation announced along with the New Jersey Chamber of Commerce Foundation on Thursday.
The majority of the money will cover the costs for dozens of nurses to pursue master's or doctoral degrees in nursing education. Risa
