Former U. of Texas Scientist Found Guilty of Research Misconduct
The Public Health Service's Office of Research Integrity has found a former researcher at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center guilty of scientific misconduct.
William A. Simmons, a former graduate student and postdoctoral fellow at the Dallas-based center, was found guilty of manipulating the results of experiments by adding radioactive materials and not disclosing his actions in his summary of the work. The research-integrity office found that
