Former Professor Wins Sex-Bias Lawsuit
A federal jury in Georgia has ordered Kennesaw State University to pay a former professor $1.06-million for discriminating against her based on her sex and retaliating against her when she complained.
The jury's award of $760,000 for lost wages and $300,000 for emotional damages last month is one of the largest ever against a college in Georgia.
