The University of Missouri System has agreed to pay $125,000 to a former men’s golf coach on its Rolla campus in order to settle a lawsuit in which he accused the university of racial discrimination and retaliating against him, according to the Rolla Daily News. The coach, Louis Ray Leuellyn, who is black, sued after the university eliminated the golf team and, subsequently, his job in the golf shop at the Rolla Golf Course as well.
