Foreign Students Still Face Hurdles
Congress should establish an International Education Council, led by a senior White House official, to spur the removal of barriers faced by international students who want to study in the United States, lawmakers were told at a recent hearing on Capitol Hill.
Such barriers have a direct impact on foreign students' interest in coming here and on their ability to enroll, said an official of Nafsa: Association of International Educators.
