Foreign Scholars in Germany

I am a student from the United States currently in Germany. Indeed, I feel the German university system deserves criticism, particularly given its "opaque," multilayered, and often uncoordinated bureaucracy ("Germany Tries to Make Itself Foreigner-Friendly," July 5). However, I feel your reporter's political analysis is atrocious and embarrassing for your newspaper. His comparisons to the Netherlands and France provide only a superficial, inaccurate description of the
