For Some Colleges, the Fight Over the Confederate Battle Flag Is Not Over
On the first day of this month, a group of cadets from the Citadel lowered the Confederate battle flag from the South Carolina State House for the last time.
But the war over the flag is still being fought by civil-rights groups and, somewhat surprisingly, some college athletes in the state.
