For-Profit Potomac College Wins Approval to Open Pittsburgh Campus

The protests of some private Pittsburgh-area colleges are not going to be enough to stop scrappy for-profit Potomac College from entering the market. After considering the objections, the Pennsylvania secretary of education has approved the college's application to open in the Steel City.
"We weren't surprised by it, because we thought we had a good case for opening a campus in Pittsburgh," said Benjamin G. Davis, Potomac's academic dean.
