For-Profit Colleges Back Federal Proposal to Make Transferring Credits Easier

About 60 percent of college students attend more than one institution before they graduate. Their reasons for switching are varied, but most endure the same confusing ordeal when they try to get their new college to give them academic credits for courses they took at their old one.
