For Pharmacy Schools, Supply and Demand
To the Editor:
It is meaningless for an article like "Pharmacy Schools Struggle to Fill Their Classes" (March 2) to give numbers of applicants to pharmacy schools, medical schools, etc., without also telling how many students can be accepted in a year. As long as professional schools continue to turn away well-qualified students, a drop in the number of applicants simply reflects realistic student planning.
