Athletics Programs in NCAA's Division III Engage in a Bit of Soul-Searching
The message on the athlete's T-shirt was catchy, and the chancellor remembers it with a laugh.
"It said, 'We don't need scholarships to kick your butt,'" recalls Joe Gow, chancellor of the University of Wisconsin at La Crosse.
