For 3rd Straight Year, U.S. Has More Foreign Graduate Students
The number of foreign students who received admission offers from American graduate schools rose in 2007 for the third straight year, according to a survey by the Council of Graduate Schools. This year's 8-percent increase is less than last year's 12-percent gain, but is still expected to contribute to the gradual recovery in the number of international students at American colleges and universities, which dropped sharply in 2004.
