Following the Rules of Early-Decision Admissions
To the Editor:
Anyone who, like Scott White, advises students to violate the early-decision agreements they sign is teaching students lessons of bad faith ("Rush to Judgment," October 18).
Princeton and Brown Universities have clearly-stated rules in the early-decision agreements on their applications. Students interested in the early-decision programs are asked to make a commitment to the programs and their terms. The National Association for College Admission Counseling has
