Foes of Affirmative Action Seek Revocation of ABA's Accrediting Power
Three prominent groups critical of affirmative action have responded to the American Bar Association's efforts to promote racial diversity at law schools by challenging its authority to accredit the schools.
In letters sent last week, the Center for Equal Opportunity, the Center for Individual Rights, and the National Association of Scholars asked the U.S. Department of Education to revoke the ABA's authority to accredit law schools unless the association drops a planned accreditation
