Florida's Universities See Rise in Minority Enrollment After End of Racial Preferences

Gov. Jeb Bush of Florida announced last week that the number of minority freshmen enrolled at the state's 10 public universities increased by 12 percent this fall, the first year of the Republican governor's controversial plan to end the use of racial preferences in admissions.
