Florida Court Says Colleges May Be Liable for Off-Campus Injuries
A university may be held liable for a student's injuries at an off-campus internship site if the institution had a significant role in establishing the internship and knew in advance that the site was dangerous, the Florida Supreme Court ruled in late March.
