Florida Board Rejects College for Chiropractors

The governing board of Florida's public universities voted 10 to 3 last week to kill a proposed chiropractic college at Florida State University. The school, which had been authorized last year by the Legislature, would have been the first chiropractic college at a public university in North America.

Several members of the two-year-old Board of Governors said they were not convinced that the state needed another chiropractic college, or that it fit with the mission of a research
