Fla. Lawsuit Disputes Control of Colleges
A group of Florida educators and lawyers filed a lawsuit last month against the state's higher-education system, saying that the Legislature and Gov. Jeb Bush, a Republican, have prevented a voter-approved, independent Board of Governors from being established.
