Fisk U. Reaches Agreement on Possible Sale of Valuable Art
For financially struggling Fisk University, a cash infusion is on the way. But the source of the money, which involves the sale of two paintings by prominent 20th-century artists, has yet to be determined.
After a yearlong legal battle over whether the university could sell the paintings, Fisk and a private museum that had sued to block the sale have reached a tentative agreement.
The paintings up for sale are Georgia O'Keeffe's "Radiator Building — Night, New York"
