Fired Scientist in Texas Faces New Charges
A computer-science professor who was fired last summer by Texas A&M University for misusing $100,000 of campus funds is expected to be jailed soon for charging an additional $8,500 in expenses to the institution after he was terminated.
Dhiraj K. Pradhan, who held a $2.5-million endowed chair, continued to charge telephone calls to his university calling card, to copy research papers on university machines, and to send out university-paid mail after July
