Firearms on the Campus

Jesus M. Villahermosa Jr.'s "Guns Don't Belong in the Hands of Administrators, Professors, or Students" (The Chronicle, April 18) supports denying access to guns on college campuses for people in the above-mentioned categories. Mr. Villahermosa explains that "most … probably wouldn't practice their firearms skills enough to become confident during an actual shooting" and that "when a shooting situation actually occurred, they would miss the assailant," with a
