Feuding Partners in Indiana's Community-College System Divided Over Management
Indiana's fledgling community-college system may be on the verge of collapsing, as the two institutions that came together to form the system in 1999 continue to bicker over how it should be managed.
The two institutions, Vincennes University, a two-year liberal-arts college in southwestern Indiana, and Ivy Tech State College, a statewide system of technical colleges, have feuded over such issues as what signs should be erected on campus and how the state should compensate the colleges
