Federal Panel Studies College Access
A federal advisory committee began a three-year study last week that will look for ways to increase the number of students from low- and moderate-income families who attend college.
The project, dubbed the Innovative Pathways Study, will result in a series of reports to Congress and the U.S. Education Department highlighting creative approaches to narrowing income-related gaps in college attendance and graduation rates.
