Federal Express Loses SATs of California Students

Hundreds of students who took the SAT in southern California last month will be taking it again because their exams disappeared in transit to the Educational Testing Service headquarters, in New Jersey.

The tests of 694 students who had taken the exam June 5 at Gardena High School, near Los Angeles, were lost by Federal Express, and have failed to turn up. The students have been given refunds for the cost of the exam, and will be able
