Celtic themes prove popular with students, but scholars still battle the obscurity of their fieldCollege students flock to courses in Celtic history, culture, mythology, and archaeology. The introductory Celtic-civilizations course at the University of Washington at Seattle, for example, draws about 200 students, making it one of the biggest in the history department. The University of California at Berkeley registers up to 100 students in its Celtic civilization and languages
