A national fraternity organization has suspended its chapter at Nebraska Wesleyan University as a result of a fire last fall at the frat house that killed one student and injured three others. According to a statement released on Wednesday by the university on behalf of Phi Kappa Tau National Council, the four-year suspension stemmed from violations of the group’s risk-management policy. The fire occurred during initiation week, and the local police department arrested two people this month on hazing and other charges connected with the incident. —Andrew Mytelka
