Virginia officials and family members of victims of the shooting at Virginia Tech are debating that question behind closed doors this week. The Virginian-Pilot reported on Tuesday that the state of Virginia had offered $100,000 to the families of each of the 32 students and faculty members killed in the massacre, with the agreement that they will not sue.

The families reportedly have until Monday to decide
