Failed Network Merger May Have High Cost for Colleges
Talk of blissfully bonding began early in the spring, but when the end came this month, it was bitter. A long-planned merger between Internet2 and National LambdaRail, the leading high-speed networks for colleges and universities, fell apart after a meeting of LambdaRail's governing board.
