Faculty Union at Rutgers Denounces President for Decision Regarding Dean
The faculty union of the Rutgers University system has denounced the institution's president, Francis L. Lawrence, after he rejected a report criticizing the dean of the university's School of Social Work.
The union said it would consider censuring the president and asking the university's Board of Governors to name an interim president to immediately replace Mr. Lawrence, who announced last month that he intended to resign after the board named a permanent successor.
