Faculty Senate Rejects Plan to Extend Tenure Throughout U. of Arkansas

The Faculty Senate at the University of Arkansas at Fayetteville has voted against a resolution that sought to extend tenure to professors in the entire University of Arkansas System, including five community colleges, in part because some members of the senate thought the proposed resolution was too broad.
