Ex-Coach Admits Embezzlement
A former basketball coach at Barton County Community College, in Kansas, admitted in December to falsifying the transcript of a former player and stealing $89,614 in Pell Grants and other student-aid funds.
In a plea agreement entered in the U.S. District Court in Wichita, Kan., Ryan Wolf pleaded guilty to one count of embezzlement from the Federal Work-Study program, two counts of theft of federal funds, and one count of mail fraud.
