Ex-Chancellor of Indiana U. at South Bend Found Liable for Harassment

The former chancellor of Indiana University at South Bend is liable for sexually harassing a female employee, a federal jury agreed this month. The jury awarded the woman $800,000 in punitive damages.

The all-female jury also awarded the former employee, Lynn Fall, $5,157 in compensatory damages. No damages were assessed against the university, which also was a party in the lawsuit, filed in 1995 against
