Enron Pacts Help U. of California
The University of California has announced two large settlements within the course of a week in its pursuit, as lead plaintiff, of a class-action lawsuit filed by investors in the Enron Corporation. The first settlement was for $2-billion with Citigroup. It was followed a few days later by a $2.2-billion settlement with J.P. Morgan Chase & Company.
