Enron Board Member Quits Harvard Board
Herbert S. (Pug) Winokur Jr., a board member of the Enron Corporation, said this month that he planned to step down from Harvard University's governing board in June. Mr. Winokur had come under pressure from a group of students and alumni who complained that his close ties to the collapsed energy giant may have improperly influenced Harvard's investment strategies.
In a letter to Harvard's president, Lawrence H. Summers, Mr. Winokur said he would resign at the end of this academic year
