Enrollment Growth Remains Slow at Western Governors U.
Western Governors University -- one of the most publicized of the virtual universities that have opened up shop in the past few years -- had about 200 students enrolled in its degree and certificate programs as of early last month.
While W.G.U. leaders say they are content with that number, it is significantly lower than the enrollment envisioned by the university's founders two years ago. And one market analyst says the low enrollments may be evidence that
