Enlightening Education
Donovan Leitch is not as mad about Saffron lately as he is about transcendental meditation.
In 1968 the Scottish psychedelic folk-rocker, along with the Beatles and Mike Love, of the Beach Boys, went to India to study the meditation technique from its founder, Maharishi Mahesh Yogi. The maharishi asked Donovan, as he has long been known, to start a university in Edinburgh.
