To the Editor:
As a citizen benefiting from the rights guaranteed by the Constitution, and a citizen deeply concerned by the erosion of those rights, I was intrigued by Paul R. Abramson's arguments ("A Right to Romance," The Chronicle, August 17). ...
I can easily embrace Mr. Abramson's argument that the Constitution provides a "right to romance" between consenting adults. Legally and historically, states have established or removed barriers to such rights as they see fit. ...
