Emory and Pharmaceutical Company Settle Patent Dispute Over a Promising Drug
Emory University and the Glaxo Wellcome pharmaceutical company have settled a dispute over rights to patents and data on a drug that shows promise in treating H.I.V. and hepatitis B.
University officials would not disclose the exact terms of the settlement. But they said the agreement would insure that a young biotechnology company with ties to Emory, Triangle Pharmaceuticals, had all the intellectual-property
