Emerging Economies Make Ripe Markets for Recruiting Industry
Vietnam's experience highlights the benefits and dangers for students who pay for college guidance
It is a long way from Ho Chi Minh City to Olney, a one ZIP-code town in Illinois. Yet every year a small but steady number of Vietnamese students find their way to its community college. According to recruiting agents' brochures in Vietnam, it is an ideal place to "study and learn about typical American life in the heartland of the United States."
