Embattled Duke Lacrosse Players Abused Alcohol and Had Little Oversight, Reports Say
Members of the Duke University men's lacrosse team did not show a pattern of racist behavior or sexual misconduct over the past few years, but they frequently abused alcohol and were cited repeatedly for irresponsible behavior, according to an internal report released last week.
A separate internal report found that the university is complicit in that irresponsibility because it enforces its conduct codes inconsistently and tolerates repeated violations of its alcohol
