Egyptian Court Frees Human-Rights Scholar

Egypt's highest court this month overturned the conviction of a prominent Egyptian-American professor, Saad Eddin Ibrahim, and ordered a second retrial on charges of "undermining the dignity of the state and tarnishing its reputation," among other alleged offenses.
