Educational Testing Service Cancels New Internet-Based Graduate Record Examination
The Educational Testing Service canceled plans last week to introduce a revised, Internet-based Graduate Record Examination, saying it could not ensure full access to the test for all students.
"After much debate and evaluation, it became clear that the current format offers students more convenient and flexible opportunities to test when and where they choose," said David G. Payne, executive director of the GRE program at the testing service, in a news release.
