Education Secretary Rumored to Be Considering Leaving
Will he stay or will he go?
Washington is abuzz with rumors that Education Secretary Roderick R. Paige may abandon his post. According to Congressional aides, Mr. Paige is unhappy because he believes he has been excluded from White House negotiations with Congress on legislation to carry out most of President Bush's plans for elementary and secondary education.
