Education Dept. Redesigns Web Site With College Data
The U.S. Education Department, which has been pressing colleges to provide the public with more and better information about themselves, is taking another step toward doing that itself.
In September the department unveiled a redesign of its seven-year-old college-information database. The site has been renamed College Navigator, and it contains a series of improvements designed to help prospective students compare colleges on factors such as programs offered, retention and graduation
