Education Dept. Hastens to Survey Students About Credit Transfers

The Education Department wants some answers from low-income college students, and it wants them fast.
The department filed an "emergency" request on Wednesday with the White House's Office of Management and Budget seeking approval by today to survey Pell Grant recipients who have transferred from one institution to another.
